The American Goldfinch is nature's highlighter. Iowa, New Jersey, and Washington all agreed this pocket-sized ray of yellow deserved top billing. This illustration catches him mid-perch against a dusky purple background, because yellow on purple is a color combo that has never once lost. Small bird, big energy.

Yellow on purple is already doing a lot, which is exactly why it lands better on matte than gloss. Thick museum-grade stock, low-sheen finish, archival inks. The color stays as loud as it's meant to be, and the print sits flat in a frame from day one.
