Alabama calls it the Yellowhammer. Technically it's a Northern Flicker. Either way, it's the only woodpecker that mostly eats ants off the ground, which is a bold lifestyle choice. This illustration shows off the spotted belly, the red crescent on the back of the neck, and that flash of gold tail feather that earned it the nickname in the first place.

The spotted belly, red crescent, and gold tail flash are the whole point, and matte paper is what lets them read clearly from across a room. Museum-grade stock, no shine getting in the way, substantial enough in the hand to feel like real art. Good choice for birders who already know their flickers.
