Minnesota's Common Loon is all checkerboard and eerie calls, the kind of bird that makes a lake feel like a real lake. This illustration puts it exactly where it belongs: floating on the water, no flourish needed. Quiet confidence in print form. Great for cabin walls, Minnesota expats, or anyone who associates summer with that haunting call across the water.

Matte paper is what turns the water from flat background into something with actual depth. The checkerboard patterning stays crisp, the blues read moody, and the heavy museum-grade stock shrugs off cabin humidity without warping. Lake-house approved.
